I'm a high school student. Trying to break into the fashion photography industry. ...If you might be able to help me out, please let me know! You have no idea how much I'd appreciate it.
Excerpt from my Facebook:
"Photoartist -- Since March 18, 2006
It's ironic how I got into photography. The story is simple, really: During middle school, I was at a party where I brought my point & shoot digital camera. I let one of my friends go around shooting with it, and he accidentally dropped the camera on its lens while not paying attention.
So I decided that I was going to buy a new camera. At the same time, I was starting to get a taste of photography thanks to the Internet. While browsing I found myself looking at DSLR cameras for the first time, and ended up getting one for myself (and spent a majority of Christmas money I had been saving since I was a young child).
My father happened to be a photographer back in the day, and he became my photography mentor. I ended up getting hooked on photography, and it's become a strong passion of mine.
My first DSLR was a Nikon D50. I currently shoot with a Nikon D80."

I'm Filipino but was born in the Bay Area of California yet spend most of my time in Indiana... Let's just say I'd rather move back to California, or live in a city of some sort.
I'm one of those guys who'll tell you that your equipment doesn't matter, it's about the artist behind it all. But for whom it concerns, here's the equipment I use:
Camera Bodies:
-Nikon D80
Lenses:
-Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6
-Nikon 50mm f/1.8
Lighting:
-Nikon SB-800 Speedlight
-Westcott 5 in 1 Reflector
I pack pretty light, and I do like to borrow a lot of equipment since I can't seem to afford anything for keeps...
P.S. It looks like I'm starting to really need a Pro Flickr account. *whistles*
