Wireless flash (strobist)

Hey
I have the RZ67 pro II. I'm proud as punch but I need to find a solution to trigger flashes, preferably the canon flashes I already own as I need pennies for a prism finder which a bloody expensive!! :)
I've done a tonne of googling but i've not really found an answer that suits me per se.
Could anyone suggest solutions for this? The canon wireless trigger for my flashes now doesn't actually fit the gap to connect to the shoe. Pocket wizards are also an expensive setup right now...
Failing that please recommend an all round working flash setup that I could maybe work towards in the future.
Thanks muchly i (if that made sense)
Sean

If PC sync won't suit your needs, you can also use an off-camera hotshoe cable. I sometimes use my 580EX II on a grip bracket with a $20 Promaster cable.

Yes its the Yongnuo RF 602?? or 603?? (latest model i think)
They can be fund on ebay I think I got a trigger and 3 receivers for about £60. There flashes are not the bad as well.
Its all manual settings so a good light meter is required. A very good low cost setup that for me has work well in all situations.

I have the Yongnuo RF602 setup and it works reliably at close distances. At larger distances (>10m) they don't work at all for me despite their 50-100m range claims. I won't spend 800€ on a 1TX/3RX radio popper setup but at least it's good to know why some people do.

I used a pc-sync cable to my 580EXII flash for a shoot yesterday, but it is kind of buggy. Sometimes the flash doesn't fire. It looks like a PC connection issue in the canon flash. In the end, it just didn't work at all and I had to grab my digital camera for the shoot. Which is kind of lame, as slide film on 6x7 is just much better than any digital camera.
Does anyone know if there is a way to connect a pc sync cable to a pocketwizard mini TT1? maybe through a hot shoe? The pocketwizard Min TT1 does not fit in the RZ67 hot shoe, as the focusing knob is in the way.
Thanks!

I trigger my Alien Bee 800 with a sync cord off the lens to the strobe. No problems.
www.flashzebra.com has all kinds of connectors and cables for your off camera flash triggering needs. No I don't work for them ;)

I have been using for the past two years 4-channel PT-04 Wireless Flash triggers to trigger 2 or 3 off camera speedlights from my RZ67. Only £20 a pair with sender and they have never let me down.

I know that this is quite an old thread now, but perhaps someone can help me.
I received an RF603N (Nikon) today in hopes of using it with my RZ67 and Hasselblad 500 (by cueing the trigger with the PC cord), but it turns out that the RF603's wireless function only works when they are placed in the hotshoe of their respective DSLR. I do own a Nikon DSLR, but I was planning to use this with my medium format cameras. Does anybody know how to solve this problem?
