NEW CHALLENGE: MIXMASTER CHALLENGE #78 - Chef: cowiepaul59

The CHEF for MIXMASTER CHALLENGE #78 is cowiepaul59. Our mission is to create a manipulated and/or digital art image that uses his ingredients. If you win this challenge, you will become the CHEF who chooses the recipe next time! See the details below in Rule #8.

CHEF Paul challenges us to create “Classics with a Twist”!

➤ Choose a photo of or create any contemporary scene in a city or town.
➤ Insert a person or people from classical painting**.
➤ Add at least one person in modern attire.
➤ Create a story around their inclusion in the photo.
➤ NO ANIMALS.

** In addition to Google search, try WikiArt.org.

CHALLENGE RULES

1. You may enter up to 3 images.

2. Your entry must use all of the ingredients. If it does not, it may be removed from the challenge without notification.

3. Images will presumably be created specifically for this challenge and, in any case, must not have been posted to Flickr more than 6 months previously.

4. Use the MEDIUM 500 format when posting images. If you're new to challenges and don't know how to do this, please contact me.

5. NUMBER and TITLE your entry above the image.

6. The challenge will run from July 20 through August 20.

7. Voting will begin when the challenge closes and will end about 6 days later. Voting is open to all group members. Entrants will receive a voting reminder that specifies the number of votes allowed, which will depend on the number of entries in the challenge. In case of ties, the top winner will be chosen by the group's admins. There can be only one win per person per contest. You MUST have voted in order for your image to be listed as a winner. Winners will be featured in a special winners thread.

8. The top winner of this challenge (with one exception*) will have the option of becoming the CHEF and choosing the ingredients for the next challenge. If the top winner accepts this option, s/he will have at least a week to decide on the ingredients. In case the top winner declines to become Chef (and there is no tie for top winner), a group admin will take it on. *NOTE: The same person may not be CHEF twice in a row. Should the top winner be the current CHEF, the title will pass to the next winner in line.

9. The CHEF will choose 5 ingredients. One ingredient will be an exclusion (for example, “You may NOT use mannequins.")

10. All entries must observe the rules of the Artistic Manipulation Group.
