My wife and I are taking a trip to Sedona soon. We’ve been there a few times already and I’m sure we have done all the popular hikes. We’ve recently gotten into bird watching and have not been to Sedona since this new interest. I’m sure we’ll spot all sorts of birds on trails but I’m wondering if folks have any particular spots they think we need to go.

Al Thanks. We are leaving in a few days so maybe we can get the book at the local Audubon.

I just came back two weeks ago. I saw most birds just before sunrise for about 2 hours. Most birds were along the river. The Red Rock State Park is a good place to start.

Few miles south of Sedona, area called Page Springs. Great for bird watching, good trails. Start at the bridge heading south along Oak Creek.
