I've posted a few pictures with portraits/ sculptures of famous people. Have you thought of a system for categorising the photos- eg a tread for famous writers, a thread for military men and women, a thread for famous criminals, a thread for people who are still alive, or a thread for possibly legendary people?

Well- you could ask people in the rules to add a tag of the name of the persom, and possibly some biographical information. As for threads- just start a thread with a picture of your own. Choose a category. Hopefully people will add pictures not just to the pool but to the relevant thread.
Also "famous men" or 'grands hommes"- I assume it also includes people like Catherine the Great and Jeanne d'Arc who were not, technically, men.
