I have been interested in doing a course and have recently found a suitable course at Wakefield College however as i am the only one who has enquired about it I doubt the course will run unless i can find a number of other who wish to do it. There will be the option to explore all aspects of traditional photography; this will include manual use of SLR cameras, film processing, black and white printing, darkroom techniques and basic studio lighting.

Its a 6 week program held on a Thursday Evening from 6-8pm. It's £90 which is really reasonable as it works out at £7.50 an hour! If anyone is interested the link to the website is: www.wakefield.ac.uk/AdultCourses/leaflet.asp?ID=58476

If you contact Trevor Crosland on 01924 789 832 then he will take your name and number and hopefully we can get enough people to get this course running and not let the art of development die out.

I'm so desperate to do this course i will even say that i am coming from the Huddersfield area so am willing to offer lifts for anyone who'd be along the way. I am a youth worker with a full CRB police check and am real friendly so nothing to worry about there.
