Anything about honey bees & beekeeping/honey. Please keep it friendly! Pictures that are off-topic will be politely removed, please dont get upset. There are lots of other groups to post to and there are plenty of more sensible things to get upset about!
If a member blocks me then I will remove them from the group as I can no longer communicate with them.

Group Description
This a group for everybody interested in bees, bee macrophotography, beekeeping and honey - let's try and keep it limited to honeybees (ie Apis mellifera) ! there are other groups for insects in general and other "bugs" and "creepycrawlies" .. and please NO bumblebees! It is helpful to either geotag via the map or state what country the picture is from as this really adds context people viewing pictures via the group.If you're not sure about honeybee identification have a look at the hoverfly and bee and wasp mimicry groups... cheers, Max xx
Group Rules
This group is all about honeybees and beekeeping. Anything about honey bees, honey or beekeeping is fine to post. You dont need to be a beekeeper or even know much about bees to post pictures to this group.Macros of honey bees, pictures of hives, beekeepers at work, honey processing, hive products all are very welcome.
Stay friendly! This group is fun - If a picture is removed it is because it is not about honey bees - Dont get upset and attack the admin. Just post another picture that is within the rules.
No hoverflies or bumblebee pictures - there are loads of other groups for these.
There is no requirement to comment on others pictures in the group but it is much appreciated when you do comment! if you want to say something like "seen in Bees and Beekeeping (honeybees only)" that is even better!!
