In just 12 hours, John has brought this from zero to a group with already a lot of substance and variety, with a suitable title photo, and helped by those who have responded to the call to bring their existing photos across from the original combined group, where 300 mixed-train photos were swamped in several thousand railmotor ones. I remember when John got underway on Yahoo, with Georgia mixed trains: famous in USA as the last of a kind. They were common in Australia, and I got a very good coverage (some posted already; more to come). What has surprised and educated me has been the diversity of countries and styles worldwide.
