Group Description
This includes all types of the high-fired pottery known as stoneware. It include grès (traditional gray Germanic salt-glazed), brown salt-glazed, basalt, cane ware, jasper, ironstone... Objects portrayed may be architectural ceramics, useful wares, figures...We are primarily interested in the history of this ware. Pictures of the process, historic ads, etc. are welcome. Please feel free to add as much description of the pot and its history as you can.
Please comment on the other photographs and share information.
This is NOT a dumping ground for vendors. If you are currently manufacturing stoneware, please use discretion in choosing a few photos that represent the range of your manufacture. Describe your process, influences and history in as much detail as you wish.

1. Only stoneware will be included. If you are not sure if your ceramic is stoneware, please go ahead and post it. I will remove it if I think it is something else.
