I have a 32 year old copy of a field guide. I'm sure one or two things have changed since then. It doesn't list the Red-naped.

I'm thinking about getting the National Geographic Field Guide to the Birds of North America.

What do you use?

My guess is that most birders use Sibley's. Can buy on Amazon. I use it, also have iBird Pro on my iPhone. It really doesn't take the place of a book, but includes songs and it's always with me.
