Group Description

No, not a 1970s American rock group, a dodgy firm of solicitors, or a variant of scissors paper rock.

This group is a homage to steam heat of trains by BR diesel locomotives; Clayton,Spanner and Stone being the three manufacturers of the steam heating boilers used in BR diesels.

Generally speaking pictures should show visible evidence of steam hissing from the BR diesel locomotive or train.

But I also want the group to document the end of steam heat on BR. So from winter 1984-85 onwards in England, and winter 1985-86 onwards in Scotland, I'm prepared to accept pictures without visible evidence of steam, providing that the evidence is in the caption instead!

And, given that preserved diesels with steam heating capability are not exactly common, preservation shots with visible steam will be allowed.
