Lots of non-Bokehrama shots in the pool these days.
Some are excellent images with strong Bokeh but no mention of multiple photo stitching within the descriptions and they are clearly single exposure images, not composites. I think some folks just see the word Bokeh and immediately start posting here.
I grumble only because true Bokehrama composites are somewhat challenging to achieve and require some real technical skills, so by comparison, the single shots seem rather uncomplicated.
I've contacted 2 of the non-complying photographers to explain the rules of this group but they continue posting here.

This is the first time I've read this post. I didn't know you were an admin, but I'm glad you are because it seems like you have a similar feel about the imposters as I do. Back when I started posting here I used to contact a few people I was sure were posting non-panos, but I never followed up to check if they'd stopped doing it.
Have you noticed this behaviour change over the last couple of years? I haven't noticed many of the non-panos on here lately, but wondered if you have to do a lot of banning.

I don't ban people unless there is an element of spamming going on with their images. I do remove photos from the pool every other day though. It keeps the experience a lot more even, I think. If that member continues posting non-bokeh-panorama images, they get removed. They're welcome back if they've agreed to the group stipulations. This group is a little more lax than the Brenizer group, which is fine by me. Thanks Ed.
