We've made our way into SE Missouri at Sikeston where we ran across this nice sign for the bowling alley. The top part of the sign used to be neon, but was switched to this sometime around 2020.
We were traveling up IN 19 approaching Tipton when I noticed that the bowling alley sign had been re-done. The BOWL had been changed from red to yellow with newer neon and the pins had been outlined with LED rope.

I didn't get a change to upload a photo yesterday because last night Nard and I met up with his friend, Josh, and went bowling.
This was actually the last shot I took of the night, and with the amount of beer I had I'm impressed that this came out so well!
I had taken some nature shots previously throughout the day but decided to go with something further from my usual. It's always good to have a bit of variety in photography.
Hope everyone is having a good day.

I had to make a run over to the eastern Ohio area and made a swing thru Mansfield on the return finding some nice signs along the route. The sign should read Closed for Good since it has not seen use for a while and there is a for sale sign in the window.
From 2008. I posted a slightly different shot of this a few years ago, but found this closer-up one and cleaned it up a little.

Back to our northern trip we have passed back thru Duluth and have made the turn for home. A nice neon bowling sign on the side of the building.
