Un uomo andava in giro con la sua valigia e raccoglieva i sogni dei bimbi, degli uomini e donne che li immaginavano e li lasciavano in giro.
Raccoglieva i sogni e li riponeva nella sua valigia di cartone con sopra dipinte le stelle.
Lui poteva vederli ... erano leggeri ed evanescenti
e leggermente luminosi. Molte volte le persone li abbandonavano ... così si spegnevano un poco e lui, camminando per strade e sentieri, li vedeva e li raccoglieva.
Giorno dopo giorno continuava a mettere i sogni in questa valigia.
Una sera, stanco di camminare, si sedette sulla riva del mare e guardò il cielo ...
Sulla spiaggia, su cui vegliava il bosco antico, c'era gente che passeggiava e bambini che giocavano.
Allora, il custode dei sogni si mise la valigia sulle ginocchia e l’aprì.
Da questa valigia usciva una soffice luce.
I sogni emanavano una luce morbida, che pulsava leggermente.
Alcuni curiosi si fermarono a guardare.
Lui aprì a poco a poco la valigia.
Bolle luminescenti, brillando, si gonfiavano e queste stelle di luce fluttuavano nell’aria sopra la valigia.
I curiosi diventavano sempre più numerosi, mentre i bambini si avvicinavano a guardare;
così, il custode dei sogni iniziò a prendere ciascuno dei sogni racchiusi in tenui bolle di luce e a darli a ciascun bambino che si faceva avanti,
agli innamorati ed alle persone che ne chiedevano uno.
Man mano che le persone li ricevevano divenivano anche loro leggermente luminescenti.
La riva era diventata luminosa e la luna, iniziando a fare capolino, sembrava sorridere nel cielo.
Ad un certo punto il custode dei sogni prese dalla sua valigia un drappo nero, salì su una roccia lambita dal mare e, sventolando il panno nero, disse a tutti:
“Vedete anche voi cosa ho in mano?”
Il brusio disse: “Un tessuto nero”.
“Si!” rispose lui
“Questo drappo è il velo che ponete sui vostri sogni quando avete difficoltà a raggiungerli” …
“Vedete tutti?”
Tutti mormorarono un timoroso “Si”.
“Bene ! “ disse il Custode dei Sogni “Volete sapere come togliere questo velo nero dai vostri sogni?
Ascoltate !
Ci sono due cose da fare per ravvivare i sogni;
la prima è ridare vita al vostro sogno, senza mai stancarvi di infondere energia su di esso, e avere il coraggio di continuare anche quando sembra “impossibile”.
La seconda cosa è capire come raggiungere la meta. Dovete apprendere e conoscere quello che vi serve per realizzare i vostri desideri .
Perseverando nel vostro intento, raggiungerete quello che desiderate, la vostra meta.
Quale meta?
Quella la dovete mettere voi, o ‘scoprirla’ togliendo il velo”.
Così dicendo il custode dei sogni agitò il drappo nero e svanì.
La gente stupita rimase lì a guardare immobile, i bambini con una vocale sul volto...
Ma tutti avevano la loro bolla di luce in mano e questa pulsava …
il loro sogno.
Sullo scoglio rimase una valigia di cartone,
con sopra tante stelle.

Santa Maria del Fiore, la cui costruzione fu progettata da Arnolfo di Cambio, è la terza chiesa del mondo (dopo San Pietro a Roma, San Paolo a Londra) e la più grande in Europa al momento della sua ultimazione nel '400: è lunga 153 metri, larga 90 alla crociera ed alta 90 metri dal pavimento all'apertura della lanterna. Essa, terza e ultima cattedrale fiorentina, fu intitolata nel 1412 a Santa Maria del Fiore con chiara allusione al giglio, simbolo della città.
Sorse sopra la seconda cattedrale, che la Firenze paleocristiana aveva dedicato a Santa Reparata.
Le notevoli diversità di stile rivelate nelle sue parti sono la testimonianza del variare del gusto nel lungo periodo trascorso fra la sua fondazione ed il completamento.
La prima pietra della facciata venne posta l'8 settembre 1296, su progetto di Arnolfo di Cambio. Egli lavorò per il Duomo dal 1296 al 1302. Ideò una basilica dagli spazi classici, con tre ampie navate che confluivano nel vasto coro dove è posto l'altare maggiore, a sua volta circondato dalle tribune su cui poi si innesterà la Cupola.
Il progetto di Arnolfo era notevolmente diverso dalla struttura attuale della chiesa, come è possibile notare dall'esterno. Sui fianchi dell'edificio, infatti, a nord e a sud, notiamo che le prime quattro finestre sono più basse, più strette e più ravvicinate di quelle verso est, le quali corrispondono, invece, all'ampliamento operato da Francesco Talenti, capomastro a partire dalla metà del '300.
Arnolfo arriva a finire due campate e metà della nuova facciata.
La facciata fu smantellata nel 1587 quando il Granduca Francesco I de' Medici decise di costruirne una nuova modena e le statue superstiti che la decoravano sono oggi esposte nel Museo dell'Opera del Duomo.
Alla morte d'Arnolfo, avvenuta intorno al 1310, i lavori subirono un rallentamento, per riprendere certamente nel 1331 quando i magistrati dell'Arte della Lana si assunsero la cura della costruzione. Nel 1334 fu nominato capomastro dell'Opera Giotto che si occupò prevalentemente della costruzione del campanile e morì tre anni dopo. A Giotto subentrò Andrea Pisano fino al 1348, anno della terribile peste che decimò la popolazione cittadina da 90.000 a 45.000 abitanti.
I lavori proseguirono fra interruzioni e riprese fino a quando, in seguito al concorso bandito nel 1367, fu accettato il modello definitivo della chiesa proposto da quattro architetti e quattro pittori, tra i quali Andrea di Bonaiuto, Benci e Andrea di Cione, Taddeo Gaddi e Neri di Fioravante.
Dal 1349 al '59 la direzione tocca a Francesco Talenti, che completa il Campanile e prepara un nuovo progetto coadiuvato (dal 1360 al '69) da Giovanni di Lapo Ghini. Nel 1378 fu ultimata la volta della navata centrale, e nel 1380 furono terminate le navate minori. Tra il 1380 ed il 1421 furono costruite le tribune e forse anche il tamburo della Cupola.

Downhill from the Theatre, the wadi widens to create a larger thoroughfare. To the right, the great massif of Jebel Al Khubtha looms over the valley. Within its west-facing cliffs are burrowed some of the most impressive burial places in Petra, known collectively as the ‘Royal Tombs’. They look particularly stunning bathed in the golden light of sunset.
The Royal Tombs are reached via a set of steps that ascends from the valley floor, near the Theatre. A worthwhile hike from the Royal Tombs leads up to the numerous places of worship on the flattened High Place of Jebel Khubtha, together with a spectacular view of the Treasury. The steps are easily visible between the Palace Tomb and the Sextius Florentinus Tomb. The Royal Tombs can also be reached via the adventurous hike through Wadi Muthlim.

Localizado numa ilha de 33 mil metros quadrados, tem o morro Dois Irmãos, a Pedra da Gávea, a Lagoa e o Cristo Redentor em seu belo entorno paisagístico.
Este é o "Velho Chico" com suas águas correndo sob uma ponte, em um belo entardecer.
Velho Chico é o apelido carinhosamente dado ao Rio São Francisco.

I can say that it is a great place to have a good peace of mind, a place I go on weekends.
Here I put a poem by Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen was one of the most important Portuguese poets of the 20th century.
She was the first Portuguese woman to receive the most important literary award in the Portuguese language, the Camões Prize, in 1999.
Her body has been in the National Pantheon since 2014

Posso dizer que é um sitio ótimo para termos uma boa paz de espirito, local que eu frequento aos fins de semana.
Coloco aqui um poema da Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen foi uma das mais importantes poetisas portuguesas do século XX.
Foi a primeira mulher portuguesa a receber o mais importante galardão literário da língua portuguesa, o Prémio Camões, em 1999.
O seu corpo está no Panteão Nacional desde 2014

Goðafoss is in located in river Skjálfandafljót which runs through Bárðardalur and Kinn in Northeast Iceland, and is just off main ring road 1 by the farm Fosshóll. It is among Iceland's larger waterfalls and also very beautiful.
Skjálfandafljót runs across a lava field which is approximately 7000 years old. Through the ages the river has dug about 3 km up through the lava field a canyon which just below the falls is about 100m wide. Rocky promontories in the horseshoe shaped edge of the falls divide it into two main falls and a few smaller one, depending on the flow.
Goðafoss is closely connected with one of the most important event in Icelandic history, the conversion to Christianity from heathendom or "the old custom" in the year 1000.
At that time Þorgeir Þorkelsson, chieftain from nearby Ljósavatn was lawspeaker in Iceland. As such he was faced with the task of settling the growing disputes between Christians and those who worshipped the old Nordic gods. Despite being a heathen priest himself, he decided that all of Iceland should be Christian, as is famously recorded in the Sagas.
Legend has it that, once he returned back to Ljósavatn from this historic Alþingi, he dispensed of his heathen gods by throwing them into the falls in a symbolic act of the conversion. This, according to the legend, is how Goðafoss got its name.

O Terminal de Cruzeiros do Porto de Leixões é um projeto arquitetónico premiado, que recebeu em 2015 o título de Melhor Porto do Ano, concedido pela Seatrade Awards 2015, juntamente com os portos de San Francisco, nos EUA, e Amsterdão.
Projetado pelo arquiteto Luís Pedro Silva, tem um design moderno e elegante, que se integra harmoniosamente com o ambiente portuário. Com sua estrutura suspensa sobre o mar, o edifício oferece boas vistas panorâmicas da costa portuguesa.
O projeto é um bom exemplo de como a arquitetura pode ser utilizada para melhorar a qualidade de vida das pessoas e a beleza da paisagem urbana.
