Paris Catacombs

Around the 17th and 18th centuries, the residents of the overflowing cemeteries of Paris were moved to the limestone quarries underground, creating a giant ossuary for over six million skeletons. It's now a tourist attraction.

 

This is just about the creepiest place I've ever been to.
