The XV Olympic Games opened here -- I was a volunteer up at the Canmore Nordic Centre, working on the biathlon range.
We had a blast, and at the end of the two weeks, I swapped my official jacket with one of the trainers for the team from Great Britain -- a good Scots lad from my family's ancestral home in Kilmarnock, just south of Glasgow.
I've still got it, and I'm wearing it today. As the chap from the Jamaica Bobsled Team said in the movie Cool Runnings, "I feel very Olympic today."
