December Light over Rowena Crest
I woke up this morning at 4:30am to the sound of rain. Most people I know would have went right back to bed, specially after going to bed at 1:30am. Not me, grabbed my gear and loaded up the SUV and headed East.....It never fails that if it's raining in Portland the chances of a great sunrise to the East are bound to happen....
and look what I found.....
The sky was pretty dull for a while but I could see the sun really starting to come up and get close to the top of the little hill on the right....and just before it started to peak over, the light filtered through the darker cloud and lit up the rest of the sky!
I did have to stack and 3 and 1.75 soft grad to get the sky dialed in for the exposure.
All in all I would say it was a great weekend of shooting!!!
