Last weekend, we spent our time taking photos of chairs. I was trying to find a creative way to do this, when I came across a tiny brass chair that was sitting on my bookshelf. I didn't take a photo of it, but it got me thinking that we've never done a project on "tiny things" or "miniatures". So how about this weekend we take photos of miniature things.
So, we're looking for 'miniature versions' of usually larger things.
Here's an example. It's a mini mini!

So let's see "utata in miniature".

As with all weekend projects, the idea is to make new photos for the theme. However, if you have one in your archives that is a perfect fit, feel free to tag it (three archival photos maximum).
Not sure how to participate? Check here for details.
Have fun!

Just for clarification, does the thing have to be mini or just look mini? Would tilt-shift miniature fakes count?

I think "tilt-shift" is a different genre than photographing actual miniature things.

At work one year there was a seminar on learning styles, led by a former teacher, who described an elementary school classroom situation where children described "infinity." One child gave a very bookish, dictionary description, and another said infinity was like Cream of Wheat box. The class was baffled, but the child explained: on the box is a picture of a chef holding a box of Cream of Wheat; and on that box of Cream of Wheat is a picture of a chef holding a box of Cream of Wheat; and on that box of Cream of Wheat is a picture of a chef holding a box of Cream of Wheat...
(I can't find an image of this box online, sorry.)

@*sabine* : I had the same idea for my Crumpler matches - doh. Must engage brain again.

Whilst 'tilt shifting' is an interesting exercise (I've done several myself), for this project, It should really *be* miniature.

I couldn't decide so I posted both. Close ups strain the limits of my little point and shooter but I wanted in on the fun!

This is one of the most incredible miniatures I've ever seen. My mother-in-law Dona has made those all her life. She made tiny houses, christmas trees and ornaments (that's what this is). She completely personalized them, even sent one to the Queen of England ;)

I don't know Sam. DD caught a ladybug and wanted me to take a photo of it, but I said it was the right size for a ladybug, it wasn't miniature for that!
