Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge
I took my first trip to this large wetlands complex, parts of which lie in Maynard, Stow, Hudson, and Sudbury. It's one of several nearby NWRs, which include Great Meadows and Oxbow. The day was a bit nippy, so I didn't stay out too long, but I walked for several miles and realized that there was a lot to see.
