Shotwell Connect links Shotwell, Yorba's popular open-source manager for Linux, to your Flickr account. With Shotwell Connect, you can use Shotwell to import photos from almost any digital camera, color-correct, crop, and transform them in various ways, then publish your photos to your Flickr photostream, with total control over privacy settings and image size. What's more, Shotwell Connect links you to the dynamic, worldwide community of Shotwell users, via the Shotwell Flickr Group, mailing list, and wiki.

Love the app, thanks.

Be awesome if I could add tags and change the titles before uploading to Flickr :-)

@Mike
The tags you apply in Shotwell get applied on Flickr.
Not sure about the titling though.

would be awesome to be able to specify the order the photos are published.
if you have the photos in shotwell ordered by exposure date reverse (newest first) then publishing will yield in a reverse order as the newest one will go in first and thus the last one will be the oldest one.

Trying to upload some photos to my Flickr account via Shotwell in Ubuntu 11.04.
I've authorised Shotwell in Flickr, I select the photos I want to upload and click publish.
I then select Flickr and it asks for my log in details. I enter my log in details exactly as I do for flickr (yahoo log in) I then click on Sign in
and nothing happens.... nothing.... nothing at all
tried this 10 times now, what am I doing wrong?

@ Endomancer

This issue has been fixed in the latest version of Shotwell. To learn how to download and install the latest release, see the Shotwell installation page here: www.yorba.org/shotwell/install/

0.11.6 was working with Flickr up until five minutes ago. I accidentally deleted Shotwell Connect permission in my apps when deleting some other old stuff. Now it just sits there forever saying "Fetching Account Information". It'll do that for hours if allowed. Clicking Cancel just crashes Shotwell :-(

Genial para gestionar las fotos, muy fácil en su manejo, rapidez y facilidad para publicar las fotos en cualquier espacio que tuvieras creado (flickr, picasa, etc), y además código abierto.

When uploading a bunch of photos, the order in which they are uploaded should be reversed: upload the oldest one first, and the oldest one is usually the last one in the selection. This preserves the chronology of the photostream. Fspot was actually doing this, I miss that feature.

It's not working for me. Adding my account from the app doesn't even give me an error- it just closes that dialog (but shotwell doesn't crash). I try adding my flickr account from the 'online accounts' app (running ubuntu GNOME 14.04), and that gives me error "Error getting identity: Forbidden" and the support group here doesn't seem to help.
