Works on my G1 - maybe you need to upgrade to Android 1.6? The app I used to read the QR code btw is "Barcode Scanner" by ZXing.

@digi.film:
Uninstalling and re-installing should clear up whatever problem that is.

Needs bulk photo uploading to be perfect. It's also the first app I found that could successfully upload photos without resizing or losing metadata.

I can't find this in the Market on my Hero :( Even tried using the QR code.. Is this somehow limited to the american market?

Can't see it in the market on my Hero either. I'm in the UK and I suspect it may be US only.

EDIT - Looks like it can be found in the UK. Tried in android 1.6 and 2.1 and seems to be listed in both. Those of us on Heroes using 1.5 are stuck without it until HTC release the planned 2.1 upgrade or we flash an unofficial firmware.

Seems to work great on my Droid (Mot). One little tiny thing that would make this a perfect app would be to have the ability to make a comment on my contacts photos. Still have to go through the website to do that. Still nice job.

Love this android app for Flickr. Happy to pay $2 for it.

Couple suggestions to make it even better:
* during slideshow, don't allow display to timeout and dim or sleep.
* during slideshow, option to force landscape mode.
* within photosets, options to view only public visible photos.
* within photosets, options to click to start slideshow from selected photo.

Just bought it and like it a lot, good job. :) Would be even more awesome if I could edit the license and other meta-stuff (like the location) from it. Got any plans for that?

needs batch upload or be able to handle me uploading one image, then choosing another image to upload then choosing another image to upload, currently it force closes.

looks like they all appear to upload with the filename 'image', would be nice for maybe a time/date stamp or a counter like dsc_001 or something.

oh and one other thing, a full screen view when looking at the pictures rather than a tiny "medium" size view would be great. similar to the stock gallery or something like the facebook gallery view which is full screen and you can andvance by tapping the left or right arrow. also possibly cache thumbnails on the sdcard for quick future browsing in the photostream

other than that nice app, most reliable ive found for my nexus one, i primarily use it to upload , not so much view on the phone but sharing a quick pic is nice sometimes

The change log at sites.google.com/site/bettrflickr/news implies no development has been released since version 1.8 on 7th January 2010, but the app in the marketplace says it's version 1.9.6.

An issue and a wishlist item:

Issue: How does one download images? Longpress from the grid view brings up a fullscreen image. Longpress on a fullscreen image does nothing. Menu key on fullscreen image pulls up only "Toggle Controls" option.

Wishlist: Have the contacts page display a gallery of the most recent 5 (or 3, or 1) uploads from one's contacts.
