St. Pancras / The World's Most Wonderful Railway Station / London

Check it out on black or at 1280 x 850 pixel if I were you.

About this shot

My Ultra Wide Angle, I love it! Usually I correct my angles when there's not a lot of distortion going on, I hate it when objects are skewed a tiny bit. But here I wanted to get it totally out of proportion. It's such a huge, fantastic piece of architecture, and I wanted to get as much of it in the frame as possible! Tilt=big, fat distortion. So there!

Weather predictions were terrible for my week in London, overcast and rain, rain, rain. I was so happy when I arrived at St. Pancras and see this beautiful building bathing in the sun, blue skies and spectacular clouds! In one week I witnessed 5 sunsets (some even spectacular), only one cloudy evening, and one rainy morning. I've learned you can only trust the weather forecast the night before, as an indication. Only after 12 in the afternoon you can really tell where things are heading, in London at least!

Ps. I might have sharpened it a bit too much, what would you say? I might tweak it and re-upload it.
