(T)angled up in blue / Erasmusbrug / Rotterdam

Check it out on black or at 1500 x 750 pixel if you wish.

What you see here is the advantage of being out there shortly after (and *during* - unfortunately, hehe) one fierce hail storm! It offered me some hefty reflections on something that usually doesn't reflect much at all - I call it Yoshi's Egg. ;-)

Anyway, tilting this blue hour shot was the only way to present you the fully fledged powers of my Ultra Wide Angle (UWA) Sigma 12-24mm. The way I shot it created such a huge distortion - when I tried to correct it I'd pretty much lose about one quarter of the image! That's not my idea of fun, I'm not using this 12mm to crop the wide angle out of it, right!?

I hope you like the wild wide angle and crazy blues here. Noordereiland, one of Rotterdam's many photogenic hotspots. Enjoy!

This is HDR, I used three different exposures (see below) and processed them in Photomatix Pro.

Tangled up in blue.
