pecan and sultana raisin coffee bars
Which one do you prefer, the close-up or this one that's pulled back a bit? Personally, I like the slightly out of focus pecans in the background in both - a last-minute food styling whim I had.
I made the cinnamon coffee bars from the Cook IT Allergy Free App, using 1/2 cup sultana raisins plus 1/2 cup pecans, chopped and toasted. I attempted to make praline pecans using 1/4 cup honey and 2 tablespoons water, though it wasn't quite praline. The bars still worked out, though! They're dense and chewy. Might I also add that coffee and cinnamon work wonders with pecans and sultana raisins. Try it out.
I also imagine throwing in a little white or dark chocolate wouldn't be out of order here either. ;)
