New York City Drag March turns into Celebrations in W. Village

    On Friday June 24th 2011 New York State passed the NY Equality Bill allowing same sex marriages in the state. The annual New York City Drag March was already scheduled to happen that night, so it turned into celebrations for the passing of the bill. The march ended in front of the famous Stonewall Inn where riots happened decades ago spawning the modern gay rights movement.
