Gasteruptiid Wasp

I was really excited by this one. I had no idea what I was seeing until it landed. It appears a bit like a fine damselfly. This wasp is tiny, thinner than a needle and about 3 cm long. In the air it is just a grey blur that you can't focus on, with two regions of white streak ( I discovered later that these were from the ovipositor and the inside legs.) It took ages to settle, but then stayed put for quite awhile.
