Firstly, this is not my shot.
It, (and the suitcase and teddy bear-carrying young boy) belong to my daughter, Nelly Nero.
Her original is below and having found an old suitcase she dressed him up like a world war two evacuee and found a local railway station to plonk him in to get the shot.
The children who were sent away from London to the country during the blitz would have been very lonely and away from their parents for months. They would have been vulnerable and scared and I wanted to try to represent that.
So I applied a little sliding to age the photo.
