      hmmm... when i try to scan with the lid ajar on my 8800f i get an error message.

      Try closing the lid as far as you can.

      freakey styley; Maybe its a solution for you to use another paper between the glass and the negative/slide.

      I hate B&W rollei retro, and kodak films, when it comes the time to scan, couse they tend to roll again or curve the other way, what couses that film touches glass, or couses unfocused zones, using the included Epson fabric frame... Fuji is the only one that seems to like being flat, and the best for scans. Some kodak 35 films are ok, but medium format are not.

      Thanks Piotr , for this info. I made my EPSON work as well.
      I just had to make my modified frame shape same as the original scanning frame came with it.
