10 years and 30 seconds in the making
Back on September 1st I celebrated my tenth anniversary working at Blue Moon Camera and Machine. Now I know what many of you are thinking; I don't look old enough to possibly have worked there for that long. Well trust me, I have, though I admit that it has gone by in an enjoyable blur of cameras, photos and the like, and I have many of you to thank for that. That and I have some awesome people to work with AND I get to do exactly what I love. It doesn't work out much better. But that is not really the story for tonight.
In recognition, Jake gave me an Elgin pocketwatch (circa the 1920's and it keeps near-perfect time), because at some point before now past-Zeb had told past-Jake that he wanted one and past-Jake reminded present-Jake so now present-Zeb owns something incredible. So naturally I took this beautiful object and paired it up with another beautifully built object. You probably did not have to have incredible powers of prediction to have seen this coming.
And then I pinholed it, naturally.
All things in their place and all things in their time. It seems that I am blessed in both now.
