Ce que vous voyez est ce que vous obtenez

An image combining two ideas that came to fascinate me and that I hope to one year get to continue to explore: incidental occurrences of the Eiffel Tower and photographing tourists in action.

Love this. I do the same thing when shooting weddings-- It's like crack for me! Cannot resist a good meta photo.

Simply wonderful! I love that b/w grain, and the unmistakable shape of the Tower in the distance. SO creative!

I could not agree more. Sadly, as I don't live near enough to La Tour Eiffel, I look for the next best thing. I take pictures of people taking pictures of people.

How long did you study French before you went to France?

pretty cool effect. the b&w adds a nice touch too. nothing like combining two things you want to take photos of.

About three months and not much since then, sadly. One reason I have tried to put all the titles in French is to keep me practicing in some small way. That or I can just plan another trip to France.

      Great concept, love the DoF!

Well, you're doing pretty good with your French from what I can tell. I've been studying French for four years and some of these titles are hard for me to figure out.

"Ce que vous voyez..." , without "qu'est-" :))

Great stuff, I just LOVE this kind of winking shots, a very nicely made one. Beautiul grain.

That could just as easily be because my translation isn't very good. :-p

I'm enjoying the series very much, another inventive photo and unusual perspective of such a well-known attraction.
