Just a bit of Proxy
I figured something colorful to start the week off was in order. The Fall colors may be winding up, but the rainfall has filled many of the falls back up and kept the moss green. This shot was taken on a brief trip with Aaron and Don down to Proxy Falls about a month ago. I wanted to revisit a composition that I had photographed the year before which concentrated on the rocks and moss.
The rest was done by my Pentax 6x7 and Fuji Pro160c film. It really does handle greens beautifully. I have heard rumors that a digital Pentax 6x7 is on the way. That thing is going to be a beast I am guessing in terms of image size. Probably going to cost a mortgage payment or two as well. Not that I am going to give up my 6x7 negatives anytime soon mind you. With my scanner at work I can already make over 70 megapixel files anyway and my camera only costs $200! Which is a good thing because I am on my fourth. :-p Nonetheless I admit I am curious to see this camera if the rumors are true. I am also guessing all my Pentax lenses will soon be going up in value. I am glad I just bought that 45mm.
