Photos taken with an IR modified Sony Cybershot F717 and Hoya R72 filter (images tagged "950nm" also include that more severe filter).

F717 modifications are similar to those described in my toyir article. However, with the F717, I used commercially available external threaded filters (e.g., the Hoya R72) instead of internal layers of filter paper. In addition, to preserve autofocus capability in the F717, I also inserted a piece of microscope slide glass, cut to the same dimensions as the removed IR filter (cutting microscope glass is easy - use a cheap glass cutter from a hardware store). The hard part is taking apart and reassembling the camera without breaking any of the flexible connectors/cables along the way.

A high level description of my post-processing procedure is here.
