Cat Heaven by Cynthia Rylant: a beautiful poem about kitties and Heaven. Very helpful if you, like us, have lost your beloved darling.

Remmy went on ahead on February 12, 2008, from a sudden blood clot that halted blood flow to his hindquarters. There was nothing that could be I had to let my precious baby boy go after just five short years.

We miss him terribly; he was such a big part of our lives. Sometimes the "smallest" blessings leave the biggest imprint upon our hearts.

Remington is a Birman. His penchant for being super-active, not to mention his affection for the camera (manifested by walking toward it and rubbing himself against it) make him difficult to photograph!

He is the sweetest kitty in the world. These are some of my favourite pictures of him - he is probably the most challenging subject ever.
