We're Going Where Exactly?

Yesterday (Labor Day) a big wildfire started pretty close to Boulder, CO. I was on the way up to Indian Peaks to go hiking with some friends. On the way up we were watching the smoke pouring from the mountainside and it turns out one of the dudes I was going up with grew up in the Boulder Foothills-right where the fire was and directly below the plume shown above. HIs Dad is in Antartica and his Mom is in Oregon, so the place was empty. So naturally we had to go check things out!

Tomorrow when I have time I'll post a big photo-diary of the day's events. It was a freakin adventure!
