The Milky Way Strikes

    Newer Older

    30 sec / f2.8. Post-processed.

Kind of an accidental shot. I had left my camera out for the timelapse sequence - www.flickr.com/photos/yunir/7383654382/in/photostream/
But about an hour into shooting, the lights of the houses went out and it was completely dark - hence the silhouetted houses. The stars became more visible and the camera processed the colours as you see in this photo instead of the blueish tint seen in the timelapse.

For post-processing, I bumped up the brightness of the stars further.

This is fantastic! I keep meaning to try shots of the night sky, but I haven't yet. Yours turned out so well, and I'm even more amazed that it was an accidental shot!
