Atlanterhavsveien - "The Atlantic Road"

A bridge with a spectacular design and therefore very much photographed.

The road crosses from the island Averøya to the south by connecting more than a dozen small islands. 7 of the crossings are by bridges, the other just by filling up the water between them. Some minor islands are outside the road, but mainly you drive along the edge of the Atlantic.

Storseisundbrua - "big-saith (pollock) sound bridge". The bridge over the sound where one could catch saiths weighing at least 3-4 kg.

Averøy, south of Kristiansund, Norway+69
