Fjallsarlon, Iceland - mixed ice shapes

Fjallsarlon is not as famous as its neighbor Jökulsarlon, but they are both lakes at the flank of the glacier Vatnajökull. When the ice breaks up, beautiful icebergs are formed that may be white, blue or black due to volcanic ashes.

The mix of three very different icebergs in this shot was quite special, but you find many different shapes in this lake - although probably not as high variability as in Jökulsarlon.
