Naqsh-e Rostam نقش رستم
Our second day in Iran, and after seeing Persepolis, we went to Naqsh-e Rostam, located only about 13km away. Artaxerxes II and III are buried in Persepolis, but the Achaemenid tombs of Darius the Great, Xerxes I, Artaxerxes I and Darius III are located here, while the tomb of the founder of the Achaemenid empire Cyrus the Great, lies buried in Pasargadae.

It's actually two sites, with the Sassanian Naqsh-e Rajab just a few hundred meters beside it. The Sassanians, particularly Shapur I, ordered carvings both under the Achaemenid tombs as well as the Naqsh-e Rajab ones.
