After Dammam

    Newer Older

After a few presentations and a museum tour in Dammam, we got back on the plane for a trip to Shaybah oil fields. This is in the Empty Quarter (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rub'_al_Khali), one of the most oil-rich places in the world. No one lives out here.

I wonder what kind of insects or is there any form of life inhabiting this area.It is beautiful in its own right but so isolated and silent almost how I envision the outer planets that orbit our earth. It holds me in awe and quietly frightens me at the same time.
