Established and emerging artists in the Faculty of Fine Arts brought their talents to a fresh new production of a baroque classic: Henry Purcell’s three-act opera Dido and Aeneas March 1-2, 2012 in York's Sandra Faire and Ivan Fecan Theatre.

This story of doomed love has resounded through two millennia. This collaboration between faculty and students from the Departments of Music, Theatre and Dance featured a cast of 21 singers, four actors and five dancers and the York University Baroque Ensemble.
