Well, maybe not brighter than reality, but at least brighter than the human eye can see. =) Supposedly (and this might be an urban legend) a 0.75 lens was made...

are you happy with the g7?i'm thinking of getting one but i'm not very sure yet. i heard somewhere that the battery doesn't last that long compared to regular rechargeable batteries and that the lens is not that good either. Please, give me your precious opinion and enlighten me!!

I don't know if my opinion is precious, but here it is:

I'm quite happy with the G7, once you treat it for what it is - a camera you take when the DSLR is too big to bring. As such, you have the necessary compromises in speed and quality. It is by no means a replacement for any DSLR, but rather, a complimentary camera.

The lens is sharp enough (in my opinion) and the battery life is decent. if it is too short, then just bring an extra pack. =)

    Hope that helps!

Thank you very much! Your opinion was precious!
    Keep on shooting.

Kubrick shot parts of Barry Lyndon with a Zeiss 50mm f/0.7 lens. Of course, that's a movie lens, but still. Big.

This .95 lens looks like a beaut. Have you uploaded any shots with it?

Shows how far Canon has come. Also that the true classics (0.95 w/ Canon7) stand the test of time.

I have loved mine since day one!
