Playing Telemann on LaSalle Street
Absolutely beautiful, with the music echoing off the canyon made by the buildings. Reginald Conyers makes his living at this. He played as a child and then put it down in his early 20s. But at age 28 he took it up again and got his chops back. He said "you never lose the mental part."
He's done this in D.C., San Francisco, and New York. He came to Chicago to try it out a couple of years ago and made $400 in one day so a few months later he moved here. But he did go back to D.C. this winter, though he says this year the weather was about the same either place. You can tell he's not having a very balmy April in Chicago either.
