    jack daniels is best
  • satonafrog 6y

Just kidding about the Jack. I use tap water in a reusable bottle. Boxed is good for travel, sporting, etc. Biodegradeable and all.
  • Yolanda Gonzalez 6y

    keep the discussion going people....

And LOL @satonafrog. My best would be mojito.
  • Kev 6y

Invest more in water infrastructure so the stuff out of the tap is tasty again. Water bottle + water + a bit of citrus.

Boxed water is good for corporations exploiting the incredible rise in popularity of "going green". Remember 10 or so years ago when you saw commercials for bottled water because it's "better for you"? Tap water is better for the earth, and so much better for your wallet.
People love throwing their money at being trendy.

Reminds me of when SUVs started becoming popular, because they were "safer". The pretty much entirely replaced the minivan for the suburbanite with kids, but then gas prices went way up and global warming became an issue, and next thing you know, Hybrid cars are all the rage. Makes you wonder how far ahead the corporations plan these things.

Whatever is good for you and popular becomes pure evil in 10 years and you have to get rid of it and spend tons of money on it's replacement right away, or your social status will suffer.
At least this going green epidemic has a positive outcome.

Personally, I can't get over the social stigma of the "don't drink the milk straight from the carton" piece of childhood advice. I just see someone's unshowered roommate wearing their untied bathrobe scratching their belly and chugging away at someone else's milk carton.

Oh, and I agree with , refillable metal bottle ftw : )

Great shot though! I love all your shots.

*edit*. I know I rant, I know it sounds angry. I'm not angry, just firmly stating my righteous opinions.

What is the difference with recycling boxed water or plastic water bottles? I recycle my Water Joe bottles.

Tap water has toxic waste flouride and a high amount of clorine. Yum yum.

yes tap water can be very bad depending where you live ... boxed is better than plasticked ... reusable is better than boxed. Baby steps will win the war. I like the milk carton shape however, and the still life photo.
