Creepy critters

These are known as Ambush bugs. I had no idea they existed until I spotted them this past summer. They are very tiny and seem to piggy back often, I don't believe they are mating!? They wait patiently on flowers for an unsuspecting insect to fly within range for them to attack. I have also observed the same bug with a mainly black body with yellow accent. Very interesting bug.
