Down at the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon

Just a short video of the rapids in the Colorado River at the bottom of the Grand Canyon.

Mike hops down off the rock and is moving like he's pretty stiff. We were all moving like that. The hike down the previous day left muscles sore (at least mine!!).

We all hopped into the water. I've done some cold swims (swam from Alcatraz in 58 degree water without a wetsuit) but this was by far the coldest water I've ever been in. I hear it's around 42 degrees. I can see where death might come from hypothermia instead of drowning. Even the little pool we jumped into, the current was still enough to pull us around some.
