I Got The Music In Me
Many years ago, I came to the realization that I was not going to set the world on fire with my original music... Hey, F you world, lol. I'm going to still have fun with other peoples music in spite of you! Ha!, take that !!!! lol :)
Jump twenty years ahead from now and we see I have traded in my guitars and Marshal/Ampeg stacks for an acordian and a chair, lol. Well... Maybe so and maybe not! But, I am planning on making music for as long as I can. Even if I do have to sit on a chair to play it :)
Actually, I do remember one of the first gigs I played way back in the mid 70's at a lodge party for one of my fellow band member's parents VFW outings where another band very similar to what you see here played many old rat pack favorites and contemporary music from the forties, before my band came out and rocked the the place with Montrose, Nugent, Stones, and yes, even some original material I wrote...
Even way back when, I remember thinking to myself, that I hope, if nothing else, when I get like really, really ancient, that I will be like the old guy on stage, happily making music with an antique Gibson 335 Dot, playing through some priceless Fender Twin Reverb amp, and making all the old ladies sigh and smile at me.... ;)
