Persimmon tree: Raindrops fell on my camera lens and smudged this one slightly

This is the persimmon tree in my front yard. Here are some photos of how it usually looks. For my family, autumn in Northern California is always signaled by the vibrant burst of color on our persimmon leaves. Every year, I vow to take some shots of the tree during fall, but somehow never manage to get to it. This is what the tree looks like now that the leaves are nearly gone. The fruit is still there, not quite ripe.
