Tractatus iuris (1549)
This gallery is intended simply to provide access to the vast content contained in the 18-volume TRACTATUS EX VARIIS IURIS INTERPRETIBUS (Lyon, 1549), an enormous compendium of writings on Roman and canon law. The images were cropped and edited for legibility, not for aesthetics. There are images of the contents of each volume, followed by the alphabetical indexes of authors and titles. There are 458 individual works in this set, by over 200 different authors. The individual works range from one page to over a hundred pages. An expanded edition, the TRACTATUS UNIVERSI IURIS, was published in Venice in 1584-86.
