Institut de France
Our angel investors really liked this imagery! Although it was not chosen to display within their new properties in Florida and Massachusetts.
I must admit, I did not know this was Institut de France until after the tour. Its architecture really impressed me at the time, along with the symbolic French flag protruding from its peak. I do wonder if Institut de France is a public facility, where once could walk in and prance around. While inside, I probably would be forced to study philosophy or read literature on the French society.
Strangely, what stood out to me about Pont des Arts were not the thousands of love locks on the fences, but the recycle bins posted in identical locations on both sides of the bridge. It really signified cleanliness and and inferred regulation.
Seriously, there was about 20 recycle bins on Pont des Arts alone. You do not see things like that in United States. A small, yet unforgettable memory of Paris.
