This evening was all one big happy accident. First, we were scheduled for a story time class at the library but ended up getting there 15mins late and not being allowed in, they said we could wait about 20mins for "play time" and then go in for the final 20mins or so. After waiting 5 mins we decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather (it was in the mid 60's) and head up to one of the beaches to play on the playground. Just before we get to the beach we run into an issue, the dead end road that leads to the beach was closed 3/4 of the way down b/c it was being re-paved :-( we turned around and were going to head home but just a few minutes in to the return trip I noticed a trail at a pond that I had never noticed before, I swung the car around and we went exploring. What we found was a beautiful pond with a trail and bird sanctuary (which we'll be going back to explore when it is warmer). We had such a great walk around the pond and really enjoyed this place, I really can't wait to go back again. So that's our story of happy accidents and how sometimes the best things happen when least expected.
